יש נתונים שלא משתפרים. בכל שנה ושנה רק הופכים למדאיגים יותר ויותר. ( נכון ליום השואה הבינלאומי 2022), יש בישראל רק כ 168,000 שורדי שואה. בכל יום מתים כ 42. הגיל הממוצע שלהם הוא 85. תעשו לבד את החשבון ותמצאו שלא רחוק היום בו כותרות העיתונים יכריזו על לכתה השורדת האחרונה לעולמה. ומכאן ואילך לא יהיו עדים חיים שיספרו לנו את סיפורם. אז בשביל זה אנחנו כאן, להספיק לנגוע במה שנותר, לנגוע, לחבק , לשמוע ולתעד.

בבית הספר עירוני א' מודיעין, תלמידי מחזור כ\"ד עשו צעד נוסף לשימור והנצחת זיכרון השואה. במיזם \"מדברים בקולם\", תלמידי שכבת יב' תיעדו שורדי שואה מדור ראשון או שני באמצעות מפגש אישי בו שמעו תיעדו את סיפור החיים של השורדים באמצעות פודקאסט. בכך אנו מוציאים לפועל את מה שאנו חוזרים ומזכירים כל שנה מחדש \"לזכור ולא לשכוח\"
